In a statement, the bank clarified, "Interest rates will be continually reviewed in alignment with both international and domestic market conditions. Last week, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) signaled the potential for the Official Cash Rate (OCR) to remain at a constrained level for a "sustained period" to steer inflation back towards the target range of 1-3%.
