Recent findings reveal that 14% of residents in New Zealand either possess or have had experience with cryptocurrencies, marking a 4% increase from the 10% reported in the 2022 Financial Markets Authority (FMA) report, as reported by Bitcoin.com News on the 11th.

Moreover, nearly half of the respondents, comprising 45%, have plans to acquire digital assets in the future, suggesting a growing interest in cryptocurrencies.

According to the report, these findings categorize New Zealand as 'early adopters' in cryptocurrency acceptance, indicating a small group rapidly embracing and exploring technological advancements. Particularly, young New Zealanders exhibit a preference for cryptocurrencies over real estate investments.

Survey results indicate that only 16% of respondents intend to invest in real estate, while 60% express plans to invest in cryptocurrencies. However, a lack of information on cryptocurrencies hampers many potential users. According to the survey, 72% of respondents face difficulties in finding starting points and information about cryptocurrencies, with 67% uncertain about whom to ask or where to find trustworthy information.

In response, Jane Greiner, co-founder and CEO of Easy Crypto, emphasized, "While cryptocurrencies have attracted interest in their potential, building understanding and trust is now crucial."

그러나, 암호화폐에 대한 정보 부족은 많은 잠재적 사용자들을 막고 있는 실정이다. 조사 결과에 따르면, 응답자의 72%가 암호화폐에 대한 출발점과 정보를 찾는 것에 어려움을 겪고 있으며, 67%는 누구에게 물어봐야 할지 또는 신뢰할 수 있는 정보를 어디서 찾아야 할지 모르고 있다고 밝혔다.
