Sir John Key revealed that his decision to step down from the ANZ chairman role after six years is driven by a desire to spend more time with his wife Bronagh and prepare for new challenges, such as serving as a strategic advisor to StoneWood Homes, where his son Max holds the position of Executive Director, and being on the board of directors for the U.S. cybersecurity company Palo Alto. His retirement from ANZ is scheduled for March 14, but he plans to remain active in various fields in the future.
